American actor Courtney Thorne Smith was born on the 8th November 1967. Her roles include Alison Parker in Melrose Place, Georgia Thomas in Ally McBeal, Cheryl In According to Jim, and Lyndsey McElroy's role in Two and a Half Men. Thorne Smith was born in Menlo Park in the south of San Francisco. Walter Smith was her father and Lora Thorne was her mother. Both were computer market researchers. They divorced at the age of seven. Courtney was seven years old. She lived with both parents during different stages. She has a younger sister, Jennifer who works as an advertising executive. She attended Menlo Atherton High School located in Atherton, California and graduated Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley in 1985. While in high school, she performed with Ensemble Theater Company in Mill Valley. Thorne Smith made her debut film appearance in the 1986 feature film drama Lucas, alongside Winona Ryder Corey Haim, and Charlie Sheen. In the late 1980s , she also appeared in a variety of films that included Welcome to 18 (1986), Revenge of the Nerds II (Nerds in Paradise) (1987), Summer School (1987) and Side Out(90). In 1998, she starred in the box office failure Chairman of The Board alongside Carrot Top. She also appeared in Sorority Wars in 2009. Thorne Smith was the lover of Andrew Shue from Melrose Place in the 1990s. In June 2000, she tied the knot with Andrew Conrad, a geneticist. The couple separated in the month of January. Roger Fishman (president of Zizo Group Zizo Group, a marketing company) and the author of What I Know was her wedding date. The couple welcomed Jacob Emerson Fishman on January 11, 2008, at 40 years old.
