Susan Sarandon Bio
It was a few days after the 1968 Democratic convention There was an audition for a film which had many parts for youth who had disrupted the convention. Joe (1970), was auditioned for by Joe (1970) and Joe (1970) and Joe (1970), two recently graduated Catholic University students. Chris Sarandon, an actor who had trained for the role, was ostracized. His wife Susan was given a prominent role in the movie as Susan Compton as the child of Bill Compton (Dennis Patrick). In the film Dad Bill kills Susan's drug dealer friend and then befriends Joe (Peter Boyle)who is an obnoxious worker on an assembly line , and who collects guns.Five years after, Sarandon made the film which cult classic fans have come to know her character Janet who is involved with transvestite Dr. Frank n Furter in The The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975). After more than 15 years of starting her career, Sarandon has finally been actively campaigning for a starring role in the film Annie in Bull Durham (1988), travelling at her own expense from Rome from Rome to Los Angeles. "It was a fantastic script ... and removed a lot of myths and challenge the American definition of success" she told. "I attended the film studio along with Kevin Costner and shook hands with his gorgeous assistants, before returning to the plane. Tim Robbins (1988), her Bull Durham supporting actor, had already given birth to two sons before 1992 which put Sarandon in a position in which she could leave home and be able to take on more difficult roles. There were four Academy Award nominations were received in the 1990s. The best actress award for Dead Man Walking (1995) was also given. Louis Malle's Atlantic City (1980) was her first Academy Award nomination.
