Drew Blythe Barrymore, born February 22, 1975, is an American actress. She has received numerous awards, including the Screen Actors Guild Award Award as well as a Golden Globe. There have been five Emmy Award nominations as well as an BAFTA nomination and five Emmy Award nominations. She is part of the Barrymore actor family and the grand-daughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore became a popular child actress because of her character in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. Following a highly publicized childhood that was characterized by drug and alcohol addiction, she wrote an autobiography Little Girl Lost. In the 1990s she was a part of several films, including PoisonIvy, Boys on the Side and Mad Love.
