Jessica Marie Alba (American actress, businesswoman) is
Jessica Marie Alba. Her first TV and movie appearances when she was 13 years

born in Pomona, California, on April 28, 1981, to Catherine Louisa (nee Jensen)
and Mark David Alba. Her mother has Danish, Welsh and German ancestry. Her
paternal grandparents were born in California as children of Mexican
immigrants. Joshua is her younger brother. Gustavo Arellano, who is also her
third cousin, was once again her father's Air Force pilot. Her father's Air
Force career took them to Biloxi, Mississippi and Del Rio, Texas before they
settled back in Claremont (California) when Alba was nine years old. Alba said
that her family was considered as "very conservative - a tradition,
Catholic, Latin American and Latin American family" while she described
herself as a liberal. Alba claims that she was already an "feminist"
when she was five.
