  Jacques Bermon Webster II, born on April 30 1991, is popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is the American musician, rapper and songwriter. His stage name is that of a beloved uncle, and also the initial name given to Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing agreement with GOOD Music with Kanye West. In April 2013, he signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I. He is signed to Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first long-form album, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. The mixtape was then followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. His debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was accompanied by the smash track "Antidote". The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) earned him his first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott dropped Birds in the Trap: Sing McCKnight (2016) alongside Quavo under the name of Huncho Jack. In the year 2018, Astroworld was released to high praise from critics. It was the first album to feature his Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debuted on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Following the release of his single "Franchise" featuring Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was able to release the album compilation JackBoys. Scott was the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs hit the top spot in less than a decade in 2020.
